Refund & Return Policy

Important Notice

Please read our return policy carefully. By placing an order with James & Ivy, you agree to the terms below. No exceptions will be made.


Returning a Product

Timeframe
You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
If more than 30 days have passed, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Conditions
Returned items must be:

  • Unused

  • In their original packaging

  • In the same condition as received

Damage Due to Personal Use
We are not responsible for damage caused by:

  • Misuse

  • Negligence

  • Improper handling

Only manufacturing defects are covered under our return policy.

Exceptions (Non-Returnable Items)
For hygiene reasons, the following products are non-returnable once opened:

  • Underwear

  • Lingerie

  • Swimwear (if hygiene seal is removed)

  • Other sealed hygiene items


How to Start the Return Process

To request a return, please email info@jamesivywashington.com with:

  • Your order number

  • The reason for the return

  • A photo of the item (if damaged or defective)

  • Your contact information

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you the return address in Asia, along with instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items sent back to us without prior approval will not be accepted.


Return Costs & Fees

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for returns lost in transit.

  • Return shipping costs typically start at $25 (carrier-dependent).

  • An administration fee of $10 USD per item will also be charged.


Wrong Product Received

If you accidentally receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours (and no later than 30 days after delivery).
We will send you the correct item free of charge, and you may keep the incorrect item as our gift to you.


Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
We’ll review the issue promptly and arrange the best solution.


Exchanges

The fastest way to receive the item you want is to return the product you have. Once your return is accepted, you can place a new order for the correct size or style.
If you’re unsure about sizing or need help choosing the right replacement, our customer service team is happy to assist you before you reorder.


Refunds

Procedure

  • Once we’ve received and inspected your return, you’ll be notified by email whether your refund has been approved or rejected.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 2–4 business days and issued to your original payment method.

Timing

  • Refunds typically appear in your account within 3–5 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

  • Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the refund.

  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still haven’t received it, please contact us at info@jamesivywashington.com.


Order Cancellation

Orders cannot be cancelled more than 24 hours after being placed, due to our automated processing system.
